Audience:
This program is suitable for anyone interested in understanding how
mental health impacts their sociability, emotionality, thinking process and
overall wellbeing.

Program Description:
Module 3 - Thinking Skills in Mental Health

The focus of this module is thinking. How do we think? How
do we concentrate? Are our thoughts constructive or
destructive in tone? Are our thoughts based upon facts or
perceptions? Thinking is a skill, and participants will be
instructed in methods of improving those skills.

Module 4 - Sociability and Mental Health

Most of life and the law enforcement profession revolves around
social interaction. That means that communication plays a
prominent role in our success. How are we at communicating?
The answer to this question bears fruit within our professional, as
well as our personal lives. This module includes practical
instruction as well as demonstration of basic skills guaranteed to
improve social skills.

Instructor:
Dr. Steve Sampson, Sampson Psychological Testing & Training Founder
and CEO, has been teaching social intelligence, conflict resolution and
interpersonal skills for nearly 40 years. He is a nationally recognized
Master Trainer in Interpersonal Communications Skills and has
presented to more than 300 organizations in 40 states. He is the author
of the training manual: Mental Health Skills.
